I'm 21 years old. I'm nearly out of college with no debt, no mortgage and no car payment. I own my car and i rent. I've wanted to put about 3k into a mutual fund but i didn't know if it would be a good investment. to be honest i'm scared to even touch the stock market or anything that closely connected to it since 9/11. any ideas or tips?
