It is not the companies plan but what you plan for your future is that counts. your age you have provided. then there are other thinks. how much insurance you need. how much premium you have to afford. your family , are they dependent of you? explain all these and ask for an advise. the ULIP policies are having high risk. so when you go for them go for a long period. be expert in switching between funds. and select the one with minimum charges and good investment portfolio. Means there is no difference in me or you buying SBI shares but difference is there me buying sbi and you icici shares.
